Terms of Service

Mafia: Truth or Lie is an online social deduction game owned and operated by Zaid Rabeea, based in Ontario, Canada. Contact: zaidrabeeab1@gmail.com.

These terms cover the game, accounts, profiles, multiplayer rooms and communications. The Privacy Policy describes information handling; the Data Deletion Instructions describe the proposed deletion process and its current development status.

The minimum age is 16. Provide an accurate date of birth when asked to check eligibility. This is a self-declaration, not independent identity verification. If local law requires a parent or guardian's authorization or another eligibility condition, that requirement still applies; reaching 16 does not override it.

Before entry, review these terms and the Privacy Policy and make an explicit choice using the unchecked agreement box. Agreement does not authorize unrelated marketing, advertising tracking or optional device access.

If you do not agree, do not continue into the game. Privacy information and help with an existing account should remain accessible.

A guest account is a server account with its own identity and progress. Linking an available sign-in method attaches it under the existing account rules. Keep passwords, verification codes, Recovery Codes and session credentials private. Do not email those credentials to support.

Use only an account you control or are authorized to access. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent ownership to recover or delete an account. Player IDs and usernames alone are not proof of control. Recovery follows the existing verification rules and cannot be guaranteed from a claimed name alone.

Only enabled features are available. Facebook device testing is deferred and X is not enabled; a provider name in a preview does not mean it already works.

The server controls roles, actions, votes, timers, results, progression and ownership. Cosmetic ownership grants no additional gameplay powers. Follow the rules shown for the selected mode; these terms do not change them.

Leaving or becoming inactive during a match follows the existing AFK and participation rules and their existing consequences. Connectivity problems may affect participation; the existing reconnect system applies. These terms introduce no new penalty, reward amount or timing rule.

Do not manipulate requests, use unauthorized automation, exploit defects to obtain rewards or access, or coordinate artificial progression contrary to game rules. Do not obtain private roles or investigation results through unauthorized technical access. Bluffing within the intended social deduction rules remains part of the game.

Use usernames, images, text, stickers and voice respectfully and only when permitted. Do not transmit threats, targeted harassment, hate speech, sexual exploitation, unlawful sexual content, scams, malicious links, another person's private information without permission, or content that infringes another person's rights. Do not spam or bypass communication restrictions.

Only upload or share material you have the right to use. Profile images are intended to be visible to players and can be accessible through their image URLs. Do not upload confidential material or use another person's image misleadingly or abusively.

Local mute, blocking and Host moderation operate through the existing features. Local mute affects your listening, not everybody else's. These terms introduce no new ban schedule or moderation authority. Concerns can be sent to the contact email. In-app reporting and moderation readiness still require review before public release.

Voice is optional. Do not record or distribute others' communications without permission required by applicable law. The current game does not record or transcribe voice; others may independently make copies outside it.

The server determines XP, Coins, mastery, unlocks and rewards under the applicable rules. Temporary rewards follow their existing activation and expiry conditions. Permanent progress and ownership are not reset merely because of absence. Coins are a game currency, not a promise of cash payment or redemption.

The current version does not process real-money purchases or subscriptions. Prices, billing, renewals, gifting, cancellation and refunds must be explained and approved before paid features activate. This draft creates no refund exclusion, entitlement-transfer rule or permission to arbitrarily change earned items.

Artwork, characters, logos, audio and other game content remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights. Playing does not transfer ownership of those assets. Do not redistribute them or claim others' work as your own without authorization or an applicable legal right.

Do not attack the service, circumvent account controls or interfere with other players' access. Report problems without unnecessarily sending credentials or other players' private data.

Read the Privacy Policy for collected information, purposes, visibility, providers and retention. Optional microphone and selected-photo access remain separate from this agreement. The checkbox grants no access to your full photo library, contacts or precise location.

Logging out, uninstalling or removing Facebook access does not delete the game account. Account deletion requires ownership verification and explicit confirmation. Guest and verified-email accounts have 30 days after confirmation to cancel using Restore Account before primary cleanup begins. The Data Deletion page describes the routes and consequences.

The game is under active development. Features can be unavailable during testing or maintenance. This draft does not guarantee uninterrupted service, exclude all responsibility or waive mandatory rights.

Final terms and policies must show versions and effective dates. Material changes must be brought to players' attention, with renewed agreement or consent where required.

Nothing here is intended to remove mandatory consumer or privacy rights. No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, exclusive court venue, liability cap or new legal retention exception has been selected. Additional provisions would need separate review and owner approval.
